Physical Changes during Pregnancy
The symptoms that should be immediately reported to a doctor if they occur during pregnancy include the following:
• Persistent or unusual headaches.
• Persistent nausea and vomiting.
• Dizziness.
• Disturbances of eyesight.
• Pain or cramps in the lower abdomen.
• Contractions.
• Vaginal bleeding.
• Leakage of amniotic fluid (described as "the water breaks").
• Swelling of the hands or feet.
• Decreased urine production.
